^Lot 477 Blue-and-white glazed Delftware pitcher, intact, bird on rock motif, ex-Concepción (1641), ex-Rudman

Blue-and-white glazed Delftware pitcher, intact, bird on rock motif, ex-Concepción (1641), ex-Rudman. 227 grams. 4" tall. Charming little Delftware piece, with scenes of trees flanking a bird perched on a leaf, head looking to the sky, a bit of glaze chipped off here and there, some crackling but intact, extremely rare as an artifact from this wreck as most were retained by the government of the Dominican Republic. From the Concepción (1641), pedigreed to the Isaac Rudman Collection.
